Can you name as many countries and capitals as you can before the timer runs out ?
Types of Dice:
5 Letter Dice – Countries and capitals must start with one of the letters rolled. Each letter die has five letters and one “Happy Face”. If a “Happy Face” is rolled, it can be used for any one letter of choice.
2 Continent Dice – Countries and capitals must be within one of the continents rolled. There are symbols for four Continents; Europe, Africa, Asia/Oceana, and The Americas.
Game Play:
Each player rolls all five Letter Dice together. The player who rolls the most letters in his or her first name gets to go first.
“Happy Face” counts as any one letter.
First player decides which side of Game Board to use, the Country side or the Capital side, and turns over the Game Board accordingly.
First player places all seven dice in the shaker and throws them, then turns over the timer.
Players have until time runs out to write the names of countries and capitals that meet the following conditions:
Countries and capitals must begin with one of the letters from the Letter Dice.
If a “Happy Face” is rolled, then each player can use this symbol for any one letter of choice.
Countries and capitals must be in the continents shown on the Continent Die.
If Africa is rolled, for example, then the countries and capitals named must be in the continent of Africa.
When the timer runs out, players total how many countries and capitals they have written down. Players get 1 point for each country or capital named, and score is kept on the ScoreCard.
Any disputes/questions can be settled by referring to the Country/Capital list that is featured in the rule book.
Turn then goes to the player on the right, who chooses a side of the Game Board, rolls the dice, and turns the timer over.
Round is over after each player has thrown the dice.
The player with the most points after five rounds wins the game.
